I have been working on the Internal Reflections series since 2016 — observing mirrors, recording the changes in their configuration, texture, and ability to capture details. The mirrors change along with me, as if they were part of Lacanian subjectivity, a personal experience of reading my own diary. I observe and translate these transformations into plastic forms.
By studying mirrors, I simultaneously observe my inner states — examining the external appearance, working with the reflective surface, I bring to light what is hidden within.
